It was only a dream.

"What do you want to be when you grow up?" Most kids will tell you that they dream of being a professional baseball player, a fireman, or an actress in Hollywood. They are the kids who trade their much loved baseball cards, keep a matchbox fire truck with them at all times, and watch their favorite movies again and again fascinated by the actors. But not me. I was the child who came to school with makeup bags. My bags were filled with my mom's makeup, mini perfumes, and anything with glitter. My best friends throughout school always knew that if they needed a scented lipgloss any time throughout the day, I was the one to share with. My teachers loved telling me that they had bought a new nail polish, and what did I think of it? I loved this attention, and I loved knowing that maybe somehow I was helping these women find products that they really liked. This is where it all began.

Becoming A Reality.

As I got a little older, the internet became a big part of my life. I would sit online for hours studying new products and reading what other people thought about them. I came across forums, where women thoughout the country would communicate about what interested them. Of all the forums I came across, I found one that I visited constantly (www.stylethread.com). They had a beauty section where anybody could post about products that they did or did not recommend. It was on of those days where I was browsing this forum and I saw that they needed contributors for their website. They needed ladies to write about fashion and beauty. Beauty? I thought to myself. People actually want to read about beauty? Then I remembered how much time I had spent reading other people opinions on products that I had tried and had an opinion on as well. Later that day I interviewed. Later that week I was told that I had gotten the position.

Today. Tomorow.
The future. Your future.
You.
