Story Continued...
We were so excited to have these clients wanting this far out style
for their own family members! Although the buyers loved it personally,
they felt it was too "bold" for their customers, so they
did not order it for their stories. We arrived home full of rejection
and disapointment. But I was not going to let that get me down!
I informed my mom that we could sell my designes on the internet.
I knew that teens would love them and could buy directly from us
over the internet. (My mom didn't even know what the internet was).
I told her to forget the stuffy corporate buyers-- we'll do this
ourselves! We found a company to design a hip website with an online
shopping cart!

was born in September 2001. We're so hot that our sales have doubled
every year. Our Wake Up Frankie look, is wild, cutting edge and
has the largest teen bedding selection available. Funky, flirty,
playas, punk or the prom queen - I wanted to offer designs for all
types of girls. I'm flattered with hundreds of emails daily having
letters of encouragement, inspiration, and decorating questions.
I love to holla back at my girls!
PS. Currently I'm expanding my line to include room accessories
by adding rugs, lamps, wall art and more. My new line will expand
to pajamas, slippers, personal care products, and a really funky
cosmetic line! Sky's the limit for me - - I can't wait to see what
