Meet
Erin, 16
"My Goal is to be an advocate for children and to
make a difference in their lives - I love kids!"
About Me:
My name is Erin, and I'm 16 years old. I am the second child of
four in a very loving family. I live in a small community where
everyone knows everyone, either because they have lived here all
their lives or because they are related! I went to a parochial school
until 2nd grade, the school in our community until 5th grade, and
have been home-schooled since.
I keep God in my everyday life, and study in my PJ's if I want!
Who wouldn't like that? Plus, the freedom we have is awesome. I
wasn't born into a lifestyle of worry-free living. Both of my parents
worked very hard to provide us as many opportunities as possible.
When I was in 2nd grade, my music teacher recommended me for the
Fort Wayne Children's Choir. That was a big deal, because I loved
to sing! It was also a privilege and honor - getting into the choir
was by recommendation and audition only! I sang with them for three
years. I took acting lessons at the Fort Wayne Performing Arts Center
for four years and hip-hop dance lessons for the past three years.
I know my parents have sacrificed, and I know they do it because
they love us and want us to be well-rounded. When time and money
were tight and we couldn't pursue my modeling or acting dreams,
I didn't let go of them. I knew that my parents were doing what
they could for all of us. Of course, my brother and sisters and
I didn't exactly choose the activities that were easy to afford!
We were all involved in almost every sport under the sun. Plus my
parents were athletic and loved to play too!
Today. Tomorow.
The future. Your future.
You.
Inspire. And be inspired by girls everywhere! That's FGBG!
